Creative Stamping – There Are Always Flowers

Creative Stamping – There Are Always Flowers

Good Morning Crafters.  Another Creative Stamping image today and sentiment too.  I made this a few weeks ago in the height of Spring.  Yellow isn’t normally a colour I opt for, but daffodils are so pretty!

I fell in the love with the sentiment.  Henri Matisse was a favourite of mine growing up.  His use of colour in his cutouts were beautiful, what a fantastic artist!

The sentiment is lovely and inspiring.  I’ve always been pessimistic and sometimes it takes a statement like this to stop and think about the beauty that is always around us.

Anyway, onto the actual card.  I used my usual Versafine Black Ink to stamp the image and ProMarkers to colour it in.  The sentiment was also stamped in Versafine Black.

The shaped die for the image is a Spellbinders – Modern Stationary S5-219.

I used some ribbed ribbon from my stash for a bit of bright detail along the middle and a couple of enamel dots which are slightly hidden in this picture I’m afraid.

What’s statements make you think about your view on life?
